AI Integration Readiness Assessment
A two-week, fixed-price assessment of where AI integration would create real value in your product — and where it would only add cost.
01
What you get
Most products don’t need more AI. They need to know which two or three places AI would change how the product works — and which loud ideas to decline.
The assessment is a written document, twenty-five to forty pages, prepared by both principals. It covers your product analysed through an AI-leverage lens; three to five specific integration patterns, prioritised by impact and feasibility; an architecture sketch for each — pattern identification, not full design; a cost, complexity and risk view per pattern; and a recommended sequence if you pursue more than one. It closes with a one-hour walkthrough call where we present the findings and answer the hard questions directly.
The assessment draws on production AI work — including the AI layer on an enterprise medical platform, where the model never sees a patient name.
02
What it costs
€18,000
Fixed. Half on signing, half on delivery. Two weeks from prep call to presented findings.
03
Who it’s for
You have a working product and a board — or a market — asking what your AI position is. You don’t have an internal AI-strategy capability, and hiring one for a single decision makes no sense.
You’ve seen enough AI demos to be sceptical. What you want is senior judgement: which patterns are real for your product, what they cost, what they risk, and in what order to pursue them.
You’re at Series B or beyond, or an established mid-market operation, where an €18k assessment is a normal consulting line item — not a stretch.
04
Who it’s not for
If you already know you want a full platform engagement, the assessment is an unnecessary step — start a discovery call directly.
If you’re looking for a cheaper way to get implementation started, this isn’t that. The assessment tells you what to build and why; it doesn’t build it.
And if the honest answer turns out to be “your product doesn’t need AI yet” — that’s what the document will say. If you want a sales pitch dressed as an assessment, we’re the wrong studio.
05
How it works
Week 0 — Prep
A call with your stakeholders, access to materials, existing documentation. You provide the context; we do the reading.
Week 1 — Discovery
Interviews, materials review, pattern identification. Both principals, working directly — no juniors, no hand-offs.
Week 2 — Synthesis
Writing, internal review, layout. At the end of the week: the document, and a one-hour presentation call with your leadership.
What we need from you: stakeholder time in week 0 and 1 (roughly four hours total), documentation access, and one decision-maker in the final call.
06
What happens after
Some assessments identify patterns that lead to engagement-scale work, and some of those clients choose to build with us. Some conclude the right move is internal, or with a different kind of partner, or nothing yet. All three outcomes have happened, and the document is written so that any of them stands on its own.
Two weeks after delivery we check in once — questions, not sales. If the recommendations point to engagement-scale work and you’ve moved forward, we’re glad to talk through next steps. If not, the assessment was the engagement.

The principals
Igor Ratsun
Principal engineer and architect
Leads system architecture, backend engineering and AI integration across all UX Bureau engagements. The AI layer on the studio’s medical platform — deterministic foundation, full anonymisation, three operating modes — is his line of work.
LinkedIn ↗Dmytro Skoropad
Principal designer
Leads product strategy, discovery and design direction. Three of his key engagements have lasted over ten years — platforms that grew module by module without a rewrite.

If the honest answer is “not yet”, that’s the answer you’ll get.
